How to Use Orthopedic Fiberglass Casting Tape
The usages of orthopedic fiberglass casting tape are shown here:
1. Before using, the relevant parts or tissue-paper should be wrapped with cotton.
2. The person conducting the operation should be wearing gloves.
3. Open one package one at a time (Do not open multiple packages at the same time), as open air will affect the material’s strength.
4. Open the package after soaking it in water at room temperature for 5-15 seconds. After removing the bandage, and without rubbing or squeezing it, you can drain out excess water.
5. Non-supporting parts of winding 2-3 layers, supporting parts of winding 4-5 layers can be fixed after 10 minutes.
6. Using the same methods that remove gypsum to move the object.
